Top ‘o the mornin’ to ya! And the rest of the day to yourself! FMG hopes March is finding you well, and counting down the days to only more and more daylight and warmer temps! Yes!!
Angie is counting down the days to her family’s very fun St Patty’s Day shenanigans, and Terry and Sandy are in senior spring to-do list mode! Terry has a mini who is a senior in high school and Sandy has a mini who is a senior in college. Yikes—where the heck does time go?! Between our fun, personal stuff, and FMG biz, spring is gonna FLY!!
Is spring cleaning kind of/sort of/reluctantly/almost getting on your brain? FMG wants to share this very simple checklist of items with you to help make sure you are taking the very best care of one of the most important things you own—your home.
And did you know that as long as you take good care of your home, you will “earn” the going appreciation rate percentage? In a typical market, that going rate is 3%-4%. However, right now in our area it’s hovering anywhere from 7%-8%. That’s right! So do these simple checklist items—they will pay off for you now or later!

WANNA APPEAL? When you get your 2023 county tax valuation in the mail, there will be a step-by-step appeal process outlined in that. FMG would be happy to research and provide you with comps that might hopefully assist you.
WANNA SELL? While the increasing county values equate to higher taxes (boo), it also equates to higher market values (yay). There is no better market in which to list your home so if the time is right for you, PUT FMG TO WORK.
